STRUCTURES

GENERAL ASSEMBLY INFORMATION

All of our structures come as a kit on a pallet and include everything needed to assemble a fully functional building and best of all assembly is not very complicated.

Assemble yourself or have us do it

You can either choose to assemble yourself or we can do it for you in one day on your property with our

“bunkie in a day” offer.

Pick up or Delivery

After your purchase you can choose to either have us deliver your structure or you can elect to pick it up yourself from one of our warehouse locations. Each of our structures is neatly and meticulously packaged wrapped on a uniformed pallet. Typically 3’ High x 4’ Wide x 13’ Long. Delivery cost ranges please connect with your CRS for a price. Pick up is always free!

Foundation Base

You should assemble your structure on a flat level base of some kind. A simple frame using pressure treated

2” x 6” construction on grade with deck blocks is an easy solution. You can also assemble the structure on an existing deck, patio or concrete slab. Refer to our “building a foundation” section of the website for more resources.

What to expect during assembly

We make it easy for you by pre cutting and notching all of the interlocking lumber pieces to size, then we ID number stamp each piece of lumber for easy to follow assembly. Instructions and visual aids are also included to assist you in the assembly process.

The construction of the main building sections for our bunkies, cabins and sheds utilize 44mm thick tongue and groove square log construction with self locking corners. Minimal tools are required to assemble our structures.

Building the walls are a simple stacking method with a screw in each corner. Windows and doors are easily inserted into place and fastened with trim screws.

The gable ends come already fully assembled.  Finally a simple matter of inserting the roof beams and applying the roof sheathing and choosing your roof finishing material your structure is complete.

Note: Shingles not included in our DIY bunkies, cabins and shed kits. We recommend installing ONDURA roofing material which is available at Home Depot, it looks great and is super fast to install. (We provide ONDURA roofing on all of our “Bunkie in a Day” assembly offers)
